And the screws holding his circuit boards in place were absolutely standard torx bits. In a pinch, if they heated up the plastic of a cheap Bic pen, they could probably press that into one and make their own screwdriver for it. The boards were small enough to be laptop contents; the components seemed mostly standard for present-day-ish tech.... one of the visible chips even had "2030" printed in its QC stamp.
