He quirked an eyebrow at being called 'brother' by such a being. Really, aside from sharing a general body plan there was almost nothing about them that could mark them as kin in even the loosest sense. Odder still though was the fact that something about him seemed to put the seedkin man- for man he was, judging by his voice- at ease; clad in armor and with a bone-tipped spear slung across his back, he hardly cut a reassuring figure. Not to mention that it was rather the opposite of the reaction he was used to getting from most people who bothered to acknowledge him.
