And that had him thinking again, trying to remember something. "...So... like the fats from milk?"

Absently, he made another shape appear in his hands, a shadow solidifying almost instantly into a large ceramic jar with a thick-looking piece of waxed cloth tied over its top, serving as a lid. He slid it off, revealing that inside was a mass of solid and yellow and glossy-looking... butter? "I don't recall the other part, though... the... lye?"

He frowned a bit, eyeing the butter before closing the jar again... and then set something over it that also hadn't existed a mere moment prior, a shape that was mostly wrapped in paper, even more opaque than the butter, and white. "....But I remember the soaps. ...I think." He frowned a little more as he tilted his head, regarding the items in his hands.

"I suppose the question becomes, without magic in this place ordinarily... when it ends again... do these things disappear, or become real?" He looked back to Foulques. "A question I would like answered, to be certain. Therefore, to test this... food, for certain. And what else? Any particular requests, in case these things remain, brother?" He shifted the jar and soap to his left hand, some absent little sparkle darkening the shadows within his right as he began to hold it out, ready to make something else. Passing out a favorite form of fresh produce to ease immediate hunger was one thing; thinking ahead just in case was another. It had to be worth the attempt, right?
