Someone Missing?

No one has seen Professor Yen Sid in a while. The basement is dry enough to think he's moved back down to his lab, but there is no sign of him down there. But hey, that weird horrible stench was no longer in that one hallway up on the main level. So you have access to those rooms again. That's a good thing, yes? And he'll probably turn up at some point, right? After all, you're all trapped here, that's kind of the point. So where could he go? Probably just laying low somewhere...

Clear The Isle, And Never Smile At A Crocodile!

After what feels like months of unrelenting cold there is a day that has what passes for a thaw in this misbegotten prison. In that the snow outside is only waist high on most adults and is more slush than solid. It is still freezing though, and the slush is starting to drain into the school, threatening to flood it once more.

But that isn't the worst of the problems. A loud thump to the walls now and again indicated something rather large circling the school, and when it got to the front it pushed through the snow. In a small inward avalanche of slush and half frozen mud came the largest crocodile any of the Misery-called have yet seen on the Isle. No easy kill this, especially not in the tight quarters of the hallways.

The huge beastie started making its way through the school, licking its chops. It sure did look hungry. So... maybe it is a student? Dare give him a smile to find out?
