First Awareness
Those used to this by now probably knew what it meant when they felt their magic return for a moment. For the rest, suddenly their powers were back. Just for a few minutes, but a lot could be done in a few minutes. If the person even noticed their powers were back, that is.
Of course those on the shore might have seen the hazy indistinct shape through the barrier coming closer, might have seen the moment the hole in the barrier opened. Might have seen King Ben leading people down a gangplank through the barrier with crates of supplies....
Unions, Re And Otherwise
Once the supplies were unloaded, the barrier was sealed up again. King Ben seemed to be in charge during the unloading, Once the barrier was closed again, by the green magic streaming from the Queen's finger, it was Mal who seemed to be in charge.
"Alright, listen up. We have 2 hours and the clock is ticking. I'm not FG but we're keeping to a deadline anyway. If you want to come to Auradon or know someone you want us to bring back, you have 2 hours to convince us. You and everyone else, sharing the same 2 hours. Along with anyone who has a supply request for our next visit, or updates. Those of you bringing supplies to the school, time to get cracking. Two hours passes faster than midnight at the ball."
Those What Remain
Once those going back to Auradon had left and the barrier was back in place, it was for those who remained on the Isle to sort the supplies and figure out how to get done everything that needed to be done with the people that remained.

The big, low puff just sort of slid away from them as it settled back down again, kicked up by a gust from something just then, something that had been behind her....
"That's hardly nice," she said, smile fading. "And I recommend you pay more attention, lest you offend someone."

"I have something for you," she tried, already moving to get back up, putting an arm around the kid... she'd just... pick them up with her. Move her other arm like so, reposition them so she could get her other foot back under her quickly, and shift the kid's weight as she pushed off of it, rising up onto her other foot as she did--
The move would give Chara a good view of what she'd had to do to sit down like that: her wings were out behind her. They'd kicked up the little cloud of sand as they'd had to spread a bit behind her, lest she sit on them and bend them in ways they weren't entirely willing to bend. And now, standing up like this, shifting her weight backwards to get upright quicker, they rose up quickly, acting as wings often did, catching the air to help her balance herself by pushing off of it. Giant, velvety-black wings that lightened swiftly into a deep dark purple for most of the last row of panes in their back edges. Those... those did not belong on a human. And they were moving. Those weren't props. Weren't simply costume pieces....

She peeked back over her shoulder, lifting her wings more deliberately this time, and unfolding them again to give a better view. "Have you seen a fairy before?"
Somewhere inside the school....
Date: 2025-04-07 01:05 am (UTC)From:While everyone else was finagling cargo and going about their meet-and-greet, the animatronic jester was continuing to mind his own business, cleaning up. He'd gotten rid of all the trash from the main hall, the side halls, all the way down through the lower levels as well, and had been working on the rooms in which the lights would turn on next. He'd been sorting bits and bobs into various boxes, with paper trash in this one and plastic trash in that one, and had taken to using one of the relatively untouched classrooms upstairs to hold all the boxes of things. He'd figured out already that no Staffbots (or anyone else, for that matter) would regularly come by to empty the garbage cans, and that said cans also didn't simply empty themselves.... which meant he'd have to do something else with it all to get rid of it, or at least reduce it. Maybe they could at least burn the paper stuff that wasn't good enough to use for writing or crafts? the once-wet, dry-again tissue shreds, the splinters of wood in another box, that would all be good to burn, right? There were plenty of boxes in that room now, in various states of full-ness, but it was quickly becoming a good spot to find material based on, well, material.
If someone else was in the building, they might catch sight of him quietly focused on his task, using a broom with a broken handle to clear out some of the floor trash from one of the side areas, pausing to turn it over to use the handle to scrape a stuck bit of it off the floor, and then carrying on again, dumping it all into the nearest trash can for easier transportation....
If someone comes around a corner quickly without looking, they're likely to run into him. SURPRISE, there's a bright yellow sunshine-looking jester, glowing faintly, suddenly right there!

Date: 2025-04-08 09:47 am (UTC)From:He knew how much Elianne didn't like people realizing she was there, so he slipped away from the Auradon group and headed up the beach a ways, before ducking into the shadows and doubling back to where he'd spotted Elianne lurking. When he came up behind her, he lowered his hood, though he stayed leaning against the wall of the shack to stay hidden from the bustling shore.
"Hey, Elianne..." He wasn't sure what to say after that. He wanted to apologize for leaving her behind last time. He needed to tell her about the weird warning those people had given him. He settled for, "Are you okay?"

Date: 2025-04-08 09:54 am (UTC)From:"Roxas!" Eli said quietly but with clear relief. There was a moment when she tried to hide it, tried to mask. But failed. She always was a trash liar. Especially with her expressions. But right on the heels of relief was something that actually did steal her smile. Fear. "Did.... did they kick you out?" she asked in a whisper. "I... I made a bet... I have to go to fulfill my end, but if they kill me... you get what Foulques owes me for the bet, okay?" she asked, having not noticed Xion at all yet.
