You have to give something to the old woman for poise. She tried to shake the bats off, but didn't drop the spider or cry out. Her eyes just narrowed as she started to pull harder on the legs, as though the bites didn't bother her.
When the blow to her legs came, because she was backed into a corner, she topped forward towards Morgana. One hand let go, slamming the spider into the wall as her arms flung wide before she fell, spider and all.
